Additional Accommodation Options
SPAO Borgo (the wedding venue) unfortunately cannot accommodate all of our guests. To ensure everything works logistically, SPAO Borgo rooms are reserved for the bridal party, parents, and closest friends. For everyone else, we’ve secured reservations at beautiful villas and guest houses nearby. Each of the options below has a pool.

If you love breathtaking views and exceptional red wine, a visit to Montepulciano is a must during your trip to Italy. Just an hour’s drive from our wedding venue, this enchanting hilltop town offers stunning vistas, charming streets, and a rich winemaking tradition famous for its Vino Nobile.
While you’re there, we highly recommend dining at Porta di Bacco, a restaurant that holds a special place in our hearts – we enjoyed a delicious lunch there on our last trip on our way to tour SPAO Borgo. It’s the perfect spot to savor the flavors of Tuscany. Don’t miss it!
Orvieto
Just 35 minutes from our wedding venue, Orvieto is an ancient Etruscan city in Umbria with one of Italy’s most beautiful cathedrals, the Duomo di Orvieto. Wander its charming streets, explore the fascinating underground caves that date back to Etruscan times, enjoy local wines, and soak in the history—it’s a lovely day trip if you have the time!
Città della Pieve
Città della Pieve is a picturesque Umbrian town just 40 minutes from our wedding venue and is the birthplace of renowned Renaissance painter Pietro Perugino. With its colorful brick buildings, quaint streets, and artistic heritage, it’s a delightful spot to explore if you have the time!
San Casciano dei Bagni
Just 10 minutes from our wedding venue, San Casciano dei Bagni is a charming Tuscan village nestled in the Val d’Orcia. Known for its free Roman thermal baths, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in natural hot springs surrounded by stunning countryside. A peaceful retreat worth visiting!
